The Wright Wedding

Alexis & Phillip Wright

Chittenden, Vermont. September 28, 2018

This destination wedding in the Green Mountains of Vermont was one of my all time favorite events. The Mountain Top Inn was part of a much larger resort with breathtaking views of the Chittenden Reservoir from every part of it. We started the day in a condo, overlooking a landscape of the reservoir and the mountain range behind it. The weather was perfect and the day was looking promising. After a morning full of excitement with the ladies, we went to top of the property for an unbeleavibly beautiful ceremony. The excitement from the morning snowballed right through the ceremony and into a wild night as the sun set. The band was interactive with the crowd and everyone LOVED it. It was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had as a wedding photographer. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be there.

The Spaulding Wedding

Becky & Tim Spaulding

Ancramdale, New York. September 22, 2018

Becky & Tim were blessed with gorgeous weather on their wedding day. The sun was shining and there was a light breeze that set the mood for this intimate wedding. The Pond Restaurant delivered a delicious dinner and beautiful scenery for backgrounds. Tim brought his Chevy Nova, which added a touch of personality a little WOW to their romantic portraits. The sun set, and the room once filled with light, turn into a party as the guests let loose and enjoyed the music. They had a photo booth and disposable camera’s on each table, so I wasn’t the only one taking pictures, but here’s some of the highlights from my perspective.

The Tonkin Wedding

Charissa & Mathew Tonkin

Saranac Lake, New York. September 15, 2018

I started the day with a gorgeous drive through the Adirondack Mountains. As I arrived, I was escorted via boat to the other side of the lake, where the ladies were getting ready. We got off to an amazing start with bohemian inspired bridal portraits and then ventured back to the venue.

When we got back, most of the guests had arrived and everyone was excited to watch the lakeside ceremony. They began with a private “first touch” and live music from their friends, while the gentlemen escorted the ladies to the alter. Then the sun came out and provided the most beautiful light I could of asked for. After a picture perfect ceremony, we did the family portraits and then got back to the shore just in time for some romantic sunset portraits.

The wedding party kicked things off with exciting grand entrances and then Charissa & Matt took the spotlight with a choreographed first dance. After a night full of live music, dancing and laughing with their favorite people, Dad put on a huge firework display to end the night properly.
